CUET UG photo and signature size

CUET (UG) 2026: colour passport JPG 10–200 KB with 80 percent face, and a signature JPG of 10–50 KB. Pixels are not stated.

Your image never leaves this phone. The resize happens on this device. ExamPicResizer does not receive the file.

Part of this preset is not a number printed in the notice. The table says which part. If the form disagrees, follow the form.

Prepare the file

No official pixel size. The long edge is scaled to 1,000 pixels so a phone camera file can fall inside the KB range. Change the crop if you need the face to fill more of the frame.

What the notice says

The CUET (UG) 2026 bulletin asks for a recent colour passport photograph, 80 percent face including ears, no mask, white background, JPG, 10 KB to 200 KB. A live photo is taken in the form as well.

The signature stops at 50 KB, not 100 KB. The line is: JPG or JPEG, clearly legible, between 10 KB and 50 KB. Guides that still say 4–30 KB are describing an older bulletin. No pixel size is printed for either file.

Passport photograph

No official pixel size. The long edge is scaled to 1,000 pixels so a phone camera file can fall inside the KB range. Change the crop if you need the face to fill more of the frame.

  • Recent colour passport photograph, 80 percent face including ears, no mask, white background.
  • JPG or JPEG, 10 KB to 200 KB.
  • The bulletin does not print a pixel width, height, or DPI.
  • A live photograph is captured in the form as well.
  • Pixel dimensions. The bulletin fixes format and kilobytes, not pixels.
Signature

Pixels are not in the bulletin. The 1,000 pixel long edge is only a working size.

  • JPG or JPEG, clearly legible, 10 KB to 50 KB.
  • This upper limit is 50 KB in the 2026 bulletin. Do not reuse a 100 KB NEET or JEE Main signature without checking the size.
  • Pixel dimensions. None are printed.

Why these files get rejected

  • Signature above 50 KB. A file that passed for JEE Main can still fail here.
  • Photograph outside 10–200 KB, or with the face too small in the frame.
  • Mask, or a background that is not white.
  • Another person’s photograph or signature.
  • Skipping the live capture.
